Gourd Birdhouse Bottle - Lagenaria Leucantha. Only edible when harvested as young fruits! Light green gourd with rounded becks and large bulbs, excellent for making birdhouses of all types, also durable bottles. This seems to be one of the crafters favourites. From mid spring until early summer in open ground in a seedbed. Plant out in well manured soil.
