Product description
Sprouting seeds can be easily grown with water. Particularly popular as both the germ shoot and the young leaves can be eaten. This is a mixture of Red Daikon (Japanese Radish), Rocket, Broccoli and Fenugreek. The sprouts have a fresh and spicy flavour. This easy-to-grow seed mix is a healthy and delicious addition to many dishes, but especially an excellent finish for an oriental curry, in tacos or a satay dish. The young plants are rich in vitamins A, B, C and minerals. The sprouts can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Sprinkle the seed in a thin layer on a seed tray and rinse it carefully under the tap. Fill a glass dish with water up to the bottom of the grid and place it in a dark room with an average room temperature (20 - 22 degrees Celsius). Change the water daily.
You can also fill an empty butter container with wet cotton wool and sprinkle the seeds on it. If you keep the cotton wool moist, you will enjoy your cultivated sprouts before you know it. After five days the sprouts are 3 to 5 cm long and are ready to eat.
