Parsnip is a centuries-old crop. Forms 40 cm long roots with a spicy, aromatic flavour. A beneficial vegetable due to its fat, protein and vitamin content. Can be eaten both raw and cooked as well as used in soups. Make sure soil is loosened up. Can be harvested when the leaves have died. Can overwinter in the soil and, if necessary, be ensiled. Gladiator F1 is considerably more resistant to diseases than the regular mid-length variant.
