Sow from mid May till the beginning of July outdoors in rows. The fresh beans can be used in dishes. For storage, harvest the beans as soon the pods feel parchment-like and let dry in the wind. When used later in the year soak them overnight before cooking.
Harvest in September - until early October. After a few weeks of drying, the seeds can be threshed or shelled out.
Only consume the harvested seeds and not the pod husk.
