Rustic or Country-style Sunny Meadow – Native Wildflower Mix

A historically authentic, natural and unaltered way to enrich and beautify your surroundings. This seed mix, with species such as Fern-leaf Dropwort, Quaking Grass, False Brome, Clustered Bellflower, Charlock, Harebell, Common Knapweed, Dianthus carthusianorum, Spiraea, Cat’s-thorn, Tormentil, Mat Grass, Burnet-saxifrage, Small Burnet, Sanguisorba minor and Meadow Clary, is ideal for sunny, warm, dry and nutrient-poor soils.
Once in full bloom, this meadow invites you to lie down with a blade of grass between your teeth. Bees and butterflies will love it too. One packet contains enough seed for 3 to 4 square metres. Sow thinly on-site, rake in lightly, press gently if possible, and keep moist until seedlings appear.
Since germination conditions vary and cannot be predicted, not all species listed may sprout. This mix is meant as a transitional or pioneer planting, not a permanent species composition.
Sowing period:
Can be sown in spring, summer or autumn. Late summer sowing gives the best results thanks to day–night temperature differences, which stimulate germination in many species.
