Sow Cress seeds indoors all year round and outdoors in a garden bed from April to October. Cress germinates quickly and easily, and you can harvest the sprouts after only ten days. Sow indoors in potting compost or cotton wool, in the garden in rows (10 cm distance between the rows is sufficient). Sow small amounts regularly to ensure continuous harvesting. Harvest once the plants have reached a size of about 6 cm. It can be used in salads or as a garnish and is delicious on bread with cheese.
This maxi pack container contains 250 grams of seeds in a handy dispersal container and is therefore convenient for schools. For example, do the germination test at school. Sow 100 seeds and calculate the percentage of seeds that have germinated.
