Market gardeners selection. A winter leek with excellent frost resistance. Can be harvested until the end of winter. Produces an approx. 25 cm long, dark green leek. Very good resistance, and can be stored for a long time after harvesting. Best sown in a greenhouse or in the garden in seedbeds up to mid June. Sow thinly. When the plants are a pencil's thickness, transplant to a plant hole 18 cm deep. Allow the plant and roots to reach the bottom, and water a little. The plant hole fills as the plant grows.
