Market garden quality. Early variety with good resistance to mildew. It is a thermophilic crop, therefore preferably pre-sow in a greenhouse in pots. Sow directly in the garden in a sunny spot, no sooner than late May! Requires fertile, highly humic soil. The leaves with silver-coloured blotches do not indicate disease, but are a hereditary feature. The flowers are edible at an early stage. Continually harvesting ensures that the plant produces fruit for longer. Does not form tendrils and so is ideal for cultivation in large pots. Harvest the fruits young!
